This comprehensive project involved both interior and exterior elements, with a strong emphasis on capturing the architectural essence of the home. The renovation specifically focused on expanding and enhancing the master suite. The challenge presented the opportunity to transform a relatively linear, single-story ranch home into a more dynamic and dimensional living space. To achieve this, we introduced architectural features such as an overhang and mechanical glass sliders that seamlessly pocket into an ipe wall, adding depth and dimension to the house. An entertaining area was designed off the master at a different elevation than the pool, providing a holistic indoor/outdoor experience. In the bathroom, our aim was to maintain the continuity of indoor/outdoor living. This was realized through the creation of a glass wall leading to a private garden, complemented by a floating vanity and mirrors suspended from the ceiling. The overall design was geared towards elevating both the aesthetic and functionality of the space.
