BRENTWOOD HILLTOP

Designed by Rachael Goddard Design Studio, this Brentwood hilltop residence was conceived as a seamless extension of its surroundings, where interior architecture and expansive views of the Santa Monica Mountains merge into a single, immersive experience. Rather than treating the vista as a backdrop, the design draws the landscape inward, creating a home that feels inherently connected to its setting. Interior sightlines were carefully composed to frame the surrounding mountains, allowing light, horizon, and elevation to define the atmosphere of each space. As one moves through the residence, the eye is consistently guided outward, reinforcing a sense of openness, serenity, and continuity between inside and out.
